THE APPLICATION OF POWERPOINT IN BAHASA INDONESIA LEARNING PROCESS: AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CASE STUDY

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the application of PowerPoint in Bahasa
Indonesia learning process. This present research employed a case study approach to
accomplish this goal. Data were collected through non-participant observation for one month,
semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and documents relating to bahasa
Indonesia learning process. Data analysis was carried out using the Creswell model. The
findings revealed that using PowerPoint in the learning process helped students grasp the
content being studied. The usage of Powerpoint has also been successful in establishing an
engaging learning environment for students. Time restrictions were discovered to be an
impediment to the usage of PowerPoint in this study
